Season and supervision
The city lists 2026 lifeguard duty from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m., June 13 through August 23. Those dates have passed. The same page describes a third-Saturday June season rule, which does not match June 13; use the dated announcement for that year, and recheck 2027 rather than carrying the pattern forward.
Children need an accompanying adult and must remain within arm’s reach. A beach map or old Blue Flag listing does not certify current water quality; use posted notices and current public-health information.

Choosing access and parking
Bell Park lists a Mobi-Chair and an accessible washroom/change area. Moonlight is also described as wheelchair accessible. The source does not make the same specific claim for every beach.
Bell and Moonlight parking can fill on hot days. Capreol has no designated lot. Maps below use the city’s road descriptions where no civic number is provided, so confirm signs and actual entry on arrival.

Beach rules and equipment
Dog restrictions include designated swimming areas, with a service-animal exception. Portable barbecues, amplified sound, alcohol, fireworks and camping require the appropriate authorizations; ordinary daytime beach access is not an event permit.
The city has a life-jacket lending program. Use its linked program page for on-site loan arrangements rather than assuming a photograph or destination listing confirms stock.
